Terms of Service
Last updated: March 11, 2026
1. Overview
Limehouse (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a calendar infrastructure platform designed for AI agents (the “Service”). The Service includes our website, dashboard, REST API, webhooks, and related tools that allow you to create calendars, manage events, connect third-party calendar providers, and grant scoped access to AI agents.
2. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
4. Accounts and API Keys
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must:
- Keep your password and API keys confidential.
- Not share API keys with unauthorized parties.
- Promptly revoke any API keys you believe have been compromised.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and API keys, including actions taken by agents using keys you have issued.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Access or modify another user’s data without authorization.
- Attempt to circumvent agent permissions or access controls.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or unsolicited communications via calendar invites or event descriptions.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- Exceed reasonable API usage limits or engage in abusive request patterns.
- Use the Service in any way that could harm minors.
6. Third-Party Calendar Integrations
The Service allows you to connect third-party calendar providers (e.g., Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook). By connecting a third-party calendar, you:
- Authorize us to access and sync calendar data as needed to provide the Service.
- Acknowledge that your use of third-party services is also subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
- Understand that you can disconnect any third-party calendar at any time from the dashboard.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party calendar providers.
7. Agent Access and Permissions
You control which calendars each agent can access and what actions it can perform (read, create, update, delete). You are responsible for configuring appropriate permissions for your agents. The Service enforces these permissions on every API request, but you remain responsible for the actions your agents take within their granted permissions.
8. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all calendar data and content you create or upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing and operating the Service. We do not claim ownership over your data.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
10. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
11. API Rate Limits
We may impose rate limits on API usage to ensure fair access and platform stability. If you exceed rate limits, requests may be throttled or rejected. We will document current rate limits in our API documentation.
12. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its technology, branding, API design, and documentation, is owned by Limehouse and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand features.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Limehouse and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the Service.
- Actions taken by agents operating under API keys you issued.
- Inaccuracies or failures in third-party calendar syncing.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
- Any other matter relating to the Service.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason, with or without prior notice. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Limehouse operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
